Bats game Memorial Day weekend

PrintSo a friend and I are planning a trip to Louisville to see the Bats this weekend, and neither of us have ever been in (only through) Louisville. Anybody happen to be familiar with the area?
We're looking for a hotel close to the park. Preferably so close that we can stumble or crawl back on foot after the game. Any advice/suggestions are appreciated.

Whatever you do
The Galt House is pretty close, and it is humoungous. Two buildings, maybe twenty stories each. A little overpriced if I remember correctly, but memorable. If it's a friend your going with, dont bother. If it's a "friend", definitely bother.
Dont worry about stumbling home from the ballpark. You gotta save some brain cells for 4th St Live.
