Today the Reds placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to Saturday, OF Josh Hamilton (gastroenteritis) and recalled from Class AAA Louisville 3B Edwin Encarnacion.
Yeah, that's all he said. I suppose hamilton's stomach injury is severe enough to be not considered a phantom injury. And Edwin's bat (.413 BA in louisville) is certainly appreciated.
At this point, Joey Votto is the guy Id like to see called up. He has been steaming in Louisville since a piss poor start, and he could be a big offensive boost. maybe put hatte on the dl. maybe wayne will put hatte on the dl.
