Jim Bowden's continuing effort to transform the Nationals into the Ex-Reds took one more step yesterday when he called up D'Angelo Jimenez from Triple-A Columbus.

Jimenez joins four other players Bowden acquired for the Reds during his tenure in Cincinnati on the Nats 40-man roster:
Ryan Wagner
Felipe Lopez
Dmitri Young
Austin Kearns

I think Bowden is more likely building a copy of the 2006 Royals than the 2003 Reds.  Boy, what a mess that organization is in this year.  I'm being drawn into following their year to see how bad it gets.  Very much like a slow motion train wreak.

Also, which of these two will drop of a heart attack first:

Ray King, or
Dmitri Young.

I'd say it is a neck-in-neck race, but there are no necks to be found in this pair.  God, I'm a cruel bastard sometimes.
