Inspired by Caleb's diary, I'm about to fall over dead from the excitement or the booze, not sure which.

But the Opening Day counter has been weighing heavily on my mind. I love that JD put it there for us. We've been looking at it forever. It seemed to be stuck at 90-some days for the longest time, but then started passing pretty quick for me. I want to know what happens when the time's up. JD will obviously remove the script, but what about the in-between? Will it just stop? Will it go into a plus count? Will the world blow up?

I'll be imbibing in Cinci tomorrow and won't get to see it happen, but am I the only one concerned with it?

That's fine with me

It's gonna be tough to get a seat anywhere that close to the park, and if we aren't going to be close to the park, we might as well go somewhere where they don't charge for parking.

However, sukr and I will still look for a spot, since we're going to be down there anyway for the parade.

I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to see how it goes tomorrow. I em'd my cell. I'll be there in the morning regardless. After the parade and such, I'm not dead set either way. Why don't we wait to decide? It could end up being a perfect place to watch the game, down there with fans and all.

I'll try to give a full report of the cloclk implosion....I'll be stuck at the office.

Bee Dubs @ Rookwood is a nice spot, and I say that as someone who lives further south than chandrathan. Watch the rush hour after the game however. 71S will suck til 7ish, fyi.

Let me know where y'all land, I might be heading to BNorth in the late afternoon. I might stop by for 15 mins for a club soda.

I will never complain again after having spent some time last week in Atlanta. I always thought southerners had an inate ability to drive but I have never been so wrong. Take DC traffic x10 and it still isn't as bad as Atlanta. Everyone thinks they are Ricky Bobby and none have a clue.
