D-Rays finishing ahead of the Yanks?  Man, that's harsh.  The Jays, I could see, but the D-Rays? o_O

If the Yanks are even close to finishing behind the D-Rays, Torre will be fired in mid-season.

Bold statement
I know but do you think anyone had the Tigers in the world series last season before it started.I like Kazmir,Fossum,Shields,Corocorn.I like Even Longoria,Upton,Baldelli, and Zorbist.

Cubs over the Indians in 6 games...
Too many people are picking the Dodgers who I hate more than the Nun and Slyde hate the Mets/Yanks.
I think there'll be some Piniella magic this year for the Northsiders, which says a lot since I'm a Cubbie hater, too.
But right now the Reds are in first!

I got some splainin to do
I'm a little embarrassed to have my picks thrown up on the front page. I'm not crazy about the Dodgers, but I really like their depth all the way into the upper minors (basically the same reason I picked the A's last year). I ended up with some trendy, yet somewhat unlikely teams in the playoffs (Brewers, Indians) and I didn't want to pick the Yankees so I went with Dodgers over Red Sox. Old teams, seems classy. I really have no idea this year.

I want to amend my NL bounceback to Adam Dunn.

by Red Menace on Apr 1, 2007 11:12 PM EDT   0 recs

because baseball IS played with numbers
The Diamond Mind simulations are in. We've got a 9.9% chance of making the playoffs and are averaging more wins than Milwaukee. No one averages 90 wins in the NL.
