Not long ago there were rumors that Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban might buy the Pirates. Now it appears he's set to offer $625 million to buy the Cubs.

This can't be good for other NL Central teams. The Mavericks were an absolutely pathetic franchise when he took over and he immediately turned them around.
Mark Cuban + no salary cap = championship.
