Right now, barring any trades which will free up more space, the Reds have around $6 Million dollars to spend. Who should they blow it on or what should they do with it?
It sucks being in a small market. I mean, Six Million can get us a pretty decent player but it's not going to make much of a difference, which is why the Reds have to rely on the progress of their farm system. Logic would tell us to go for a middle-reliever or another starter that would fit into the rotation. Despite weathers being older than dirt, the guys not bad. McBeth, Burton, Coffey aren't horrible, with a beefed up bullpen and one more starter, the Reds could certainly do some damage in the Central this next year.
