Around here, you don't get anything except PBS (relayed from the community college down the road) and the local bible-thumping channel without cable. And the reception on those two is really, really awful.

I gather in the old days, they'd have roof antennas on every house and apartment building. But now everyone has cable or satellite, and there are no more antennas.

i heard brent musberger say this a few minutes ago

he's just old and dumb. ginn/gonzalez were much better than robiskie/hartline. troy smith won the GD heisman. of course the bucks O last year was better.

at least this isnt pittsburgh

Rodriguez is expected to win the AL Hank Aaron award given to each league's best hitter as determined by radio and T.V. broadcasters. The award ceremony will be before Game 4 of the World Series on Sunday. A-Rod will not be on hand to accept it, however.

"He has a family matter," Boras said.

Translation: that award is bullshit. We won't bother.
