Reds' #1's

Drew Stubbs just completed a moderately productive first season of pro ball.  Bailey and Bruce were phenomenal picks.

Just remember the name Tim Lincecum, the pitcher I was pimping for the Reds top selection this year. He is filthy and, sadly, part of the SF organization.

I've said it before, and I have great disappointment Kazmir and Sowers aren't wearing Reds unis.  The Gruler misfortune was just that, out of the kids control.

Ijust think the Reds will rue not selecting Lincecum, if they don't already.

My next great recommendation is the Reds select Trey Griffey, but the Weathers boy is screaming up the charts.

I was pimping Lincecum, too.
The man is gonna be amazing. I was so irritated that the Reds took Stubbs, who I doubt will ever actually hit well in the major leagues.

Trey Griffey
Unless the Reds become a football team, that probably isn't gonna happen.

What about Jose Rijo's son?
He must be about 17 now. I wonder if he pitches. He's also Juan Marichal's grandson. Yeah, I agree Drew Stubbs is going to be a bit of a project. Maybe he's a big game player though. The Billings team lost the first two games of their playoffs with Missoula, and I think they're eliminated. Drew Stubbs is one of the few on the team who stepped up. He hit a first inning leadoff homer in each game.

The great man's kid didn't have any talent and even fewer smarts, but the Reds gave him a chance!
