From today's WaPo: "I definitely know there are some guys who get to a Sunday day game, after a Saturday night game, and say, 'Man, I wish I had a greenie.' I've heard guys say that," Cincinnati Reds pitcher Bronson Arroyo said. "So there's probably been some small effect. But I don't think it's been as noticeable as people thought it would be."
...Arroyo said, if anything, some players have reported better results without the drugs. "I've heard two guys talking about why they're having so much success as hitters. And both of them attributed it to not using greenies -- it's made them more relaxed at the plate, less jumpy," he said."
It seems to me he is a random guy to be talking about greenies in the article.
note: I wanted to post something on this on Church of Baseball, but Blogger will not let me login. I am afraid it will be several days before I can post, or worse, because Blogger support almost never responds to help questions. If anyone is thinking of starting a blog, do not use Blogger. There is nothing but problems with that "service."
