David Ross nickname

I suggested "The Dr.", since his initials are "D.R." Any other suggestions?

It's a little corny, as Ash pointed out, but it is simple and complimentary.

Of course, something with more humor and pizzazz would be wonderful, but it also has to "fit" him.

You'd think after a 6-run 1st inning, and a 7-run 7th inning, we'd all be full of amazing thoughts and quips. Hopefully, someone out there is, otherwise, I'll go with "The Dr."

like drive, or drip, or drome run?

doctor just doesn't work for me. i ponder this every time he's up and i say "come on, um...ross." that doesn't work, either. davey doesn't work, rossy doesn't work. D.R., just the initials, works better than his name, but still not good. wade is his middle name. it's tough.

this arizona san diego game is actually good. we want SD today - it's looking good in the bottom of 10 bases loaded no outs.
