Long time lurker, first time poster (I feel like I'm on Larry King or something). I got tired of the ESPN boards and people recommeding trading Dunn for Kyle Farnsworth and Bubba Crosby (that really happened), so I figured I'd give another board a shot. I had a few ideas for some deadline trades, and figured I'd post them in order to get ripped apart.

Trade Ray Olmedo to the Devil Rays for Tyler Walker
This happens as soon as Walker comes off the DL. With Felipe proving that he's not a fluke, and Phillips emerging as a legitimate threat, Olmedo doesn't fit into the long term plans. The Rays do this in order to move either Upton or Cantu to 3B, and improve their defense up the middle.
Trade BJ Szymanski to the Cubs for Scott Williamson
The Cubs have been known to covet toolsy outfielders (see their pursuit of Austin Kearns), and Szymanski is a great athlete who could benefit from a change of scenery.
Both Walker and Williamson are free agents after the season to my knowledge, and could help shore up the bullpen for the stretch run. The Reds don't give up any of their top prospects, and still make moves to help the squad in the short term.
I realize playing armchair GM doesn't serve to endear myself to the redreporter faithful, but I'm still interested in what you guys think. I'll be on in the future for game threads, diary responses, and about anything else you can think of.
