If there was one player I would pay to see play right now its got to be Fransisco Liriano.

I don't know about any other player I want to see play more. I think right now I would rather see him pitch than watch the Reds and really I never get to do either. I find that sad. I just needed to get that off my chest.

I don't think it's sad. Lirano is doing some amazing stuff. It's the kind of performance that only comes once every few years and once every couple of decades by someone his age. I'd like to watch him pitch too. Makes me wish I still had MLB EI.

Anyone noticed....

That Jered Weaver for the Angels is off to an even better start. Smaller sample size, but his start has matched, if not exceeded, Liriano's. He has a no-hitter thru 5 innings today to boot.

I hadn't looked at his numbers, but I knew he was doing well. I just looked at this numbers going into today, 6-0 1.12 ERA. So, I change my earlier statement to say that it only happens a couple of times every decade. :)
