mlbtraderumors.com recently reported rumblings of a deal sending Todd Coffey to Texas for Ian Kinsler. What's your take?
The good: Kinsler is 24, inexpensive is a solid hitter with some pop, can run and can play SS, too. He's usually decent with the glove but has struggled the last couple of weeks. A Phillips-Kinsler DP combination looks good for years to come.
The bad: Coffey, 25, is a quality, inexpensive RP in a pen that lacks such pitchers. The market for relievers is insanely high and Coffey has closer potential.
