Enjoying seeing the Braves in last place

The Braves have lost 9 in a row and are in last place. They are worse than the $15-million-payroll Fightin' Fish.

After 15 years -FINALLY- I can dance on the grave of the Braves dynasty.

Braves: How do I hate thee? Let me count the ways:

For having fans so lazy that you can't even sell out a playoff game, even when thousands of out of town fans are buying up tickets.
For the most annoying thing in the game: The Tomahawk Chop.
For celebrating like you just won the World Series when you ended Pete Rose's hitting streak in 1978.
For giving us such prizes as wife beater Bobby Cox, philanderer Chipper Jones, and proto-Klansman John Rocker.
Skip Caray, you make my ears hurt.
Chief Noc-a-homa. Seriously?
For your long years of sponsorship by Red Man Chewing Tobacco. Teaching kids prejudice and tobacco use at the same time. Thanks.
And finally, for holding us to 5 runs in 39 innings of play in the 1995 NLCS.

Braves, you are dominant no longer. In fact, you suck. Good riddance!

I've never been a fan but you have to admire an organization that can keep winning their division all those years in a row. That being said, You did however forget the following:

The introduction to the National League of the Greg Maddux strike zone.
Don Sutton, rivaled only by McCarver, for the biggest know-it-all in baseball.

It's awesome now though

Seinfeld, Family Guy, Dumb and Dumber and Happy Gilmore shown constantly. At this point, the only thing worse than the Braves on the station is Sex and the City.

I wish it weren't the Mets!

Having both the Mets and Yankees among the top 5-6 teams in baseball is too much for one city. I'd much rather it were the Phillies, Marlins, or the Nationals!

And I'm old enough to remember when the Atlanta Braves were annually a pathetic team - always at or near the bottom of their division.

You know, I don't mind them that much. They've proven that they can win a division, and then they'll step aside and let the rest of the league proceed with the postseason. So really, I don't have a problem with them.

That, and I HATE every other team in that division far far more.

Don't forget...

Ted Turner.
The fact that the Tomahawk Chop wasn't even an original annoying thing. (It originated at Florida State in 1984 and got ported over to the Braves when Deion Sanders, an FSU alum, played for them in 1991.)

And I believe the commissioner shut it down the very next day. I guess they felt an owner in the dugout was probably not a good idea. Good thing too, or else Marge would have been managing the 1990 team instead of Lou.
