Game Thread: Game 6 vs. the Pirates

REDS PROBABLE: PIRATES PROBABLE:
Dave Williams (0-0, 0.00) Victor Santos (0-1, 6.23)
Brandon Phillips is now on the active roster, and Chris Denorfia has been sent to AAA, as I'm sure most of you have heard by now.
I really hope another move is imminent, because LaRue will be back on Tuesday, meaning the Reds will be carrying three catchers and four second baseman. That's not exactly a recipe for success.
It'll be interesting to see what Dave Williams can do today against his old teammates. Not sure it matters though, because the bullpen is sure to tack on another 3-6 runs after he's pulled. Something needs to be done about the pen. And since we have all these excess parts a trade for a reliever would make a lot of sense right now.
Go Reds!

the lineup
"puzzled" is an understatement
I believe Steve Stewart said yesterday, "Freel is the best leadoff hitter on this team, and one of the best in all of baseball." And he's rotting on the bench. I don't blame Freel for being pissed. Five steals in three starts...
argh!
