That's the Enquirer article: Narron: Aurilia may be MVP. Fay notes that the Reds' slide has occurred when Aurilia got injured. Ludicrous, I'm sure we would all agree.
So who is the MVP of the 05 Reds? Here's what the fancy-schmancy stats have to say:

Good lord
Home: .972 OPS
Road: .562 OPS
That's reason alone for the Reds to forgo signing him in 2006.
And it's absurd to suggest that he's been a better player this season than Ken Griffey Jr. or Adam Dunn. Or hell, Sean Casey. Or Felipe Lopez. The catchers have been better as well.
I'm still not impressed at all with the guy. He whines on top of everything else.
And yet the Cincinnati media is pegging him as the team MVP. Unreal.

The Cincinnati Media?
And by Cincinnati media, I mean John Fay.
I don't see Aurilia as MVP, but it is a tricky question. Griffey is having an amazing year, but so is Lopez. I don't think Dunn is MVP-worthy yet.
If I was choosing, I'd go with Griffey.
