Just finished "The Book on the Book" by Bill Felber and thought it very thought-provoking and insightful. Give it a look! One section covered how to tell how closely a player's actual worth matched their salary. The data shown was for 2003 and 2004, and with injuries, Griffey didn't fare too well (as you might expect). I'd love to see the analysis done again this winter after the year Griffey's been having. I think we're finally getting what we wanted from the Cincinnati Kid!
