Here we go. the Reds first trip into Washington. The bad man Rich Aurillia gets their first hit. Let's go Reds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no runs in the first for the Reds. Here is hoping the bats stay hot and the pitching can get it done. Turn on Marty and enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a game so far for this guy. Did you see him come in like a freight train behind the mound and nail the runner at first? Hudson would have been flattened if he took one more step towards second.

And how about that thrown from his knees to get Preston Wilson?

Ron Darling is terrible.

"You don't want to get into a game with the Reds where you have to score more runs than them. It's too difficult."

"The Reds are 12 games under .500 this year."

I believe that game is called baseball and more often than not this year it's not too hard.

That's one of the worst statements I've ever heard. Not quite as good as the Dick Vitale classic, at an Indiana-Purdue basketball pregame once, where he, in a fit of excitement, exclaimed, "The team that scores more points than the other team is going to win this game, baby!" But it's still pretty bad.

In all honesty, other than Marty & Co. and Bob Ucker, I can't stand most baseball announcers. Occassionally, I'll launch the wrong broadcast with MLB Gameday Audio... that lasts about two seconds.
