Around SBN: Jeremy Lin And How The Pac-12 Missed Him

don't look now....

Going into tonight's game with the Washington Nationals the Reds are in fifth place chasing Chicago and Milwaukee for third place. The Reds are two and a half behind the Cubs and three and a half behind the Brewers in the standings. Better yet they are only two and three games, respectively, behind in the loss column. I think they can finish in third. how sweet would that be after the lousy start to the season?? Let's Go Reds!!!!

And I completely agree!

If they could ever find some pitching to support those games when the offense doesn't put up 6 runs, imagine what might be...

Bowden
This was in Fay's notebook:

-------------
AURILIA TALK: Bowden was asked before the game about the possibility of a trade for Rich Aurilia.

He paused and said: "Anything is possible."

That says something to me.  If Jim had no interest, he would have jumped into something like "I've tried to get Rich, but the Reds won't answer my calls.  I had several prospects to give the Reds had they been interested."

So maybe he's thinking about it.  And kudos to the reporter who put the idea in his head.
