The Pirates are 4-10 thus far.  The Pirates are a good example of the kind of team the Reds need to be able to handle if they want to be taken seriously this season.  It's fine to play roughly .500 ball against the Astros, Cards, and Cubs, but you've got to win ballgames when you're playing the Pirates.

The Reds face another ace tonight in Perez, but he's struggled so far this year, giving up at least five runs in every start.  Hopefully he won't find any relief tonight.
