Cincinnati Pops Takes on the Reds

I heartily encourage all true Reds fans to learn and sing the song. It works great at home or on the road. Wrigley's left field bleachers heard it often over the course of an early season series last year. And the fans in our section at Miller Park gave us a polite ovation for our efforts, probably because the Brewers were still winning by eight or so runs when we finally had a reason to sing it.

It would be great if we could get a groundswell of support behind the song. I frankly don't know why it's not played at GABP. It could lend some distinctiveness and liveliness to an unecessarily bland home crowd. The Bengals have taken to playing their 1968-era fight song the last few seasons, and the crowd gets hyped for it.

Love the song.  I was just telling my friend that the Reds needed a fight song, and a Google search later, we found one!  We were thinking of when the song could be sung (I'm not suggesting changing the 7th inning stretch) and I thought after a win would be nice.  Let the fireworks go and then start up the fight song.  I understand that you can get a group of Reds supporters on the road to join in, but how do you do it at home?  Who can we talk to at GABP?  How was the reception in 1997?
