Who's #25

Maybe I'm dense (Maybe?!), but I'm trying to guess who the 25th guy might be.

I'm guessing we keep 12 pitchers...is that a safe assumption?  Let's say it is.

Now, for the other 13.

  1.  LaRue
  2.  Valentin
  3.  Casey
  4.  Jiminez
  5.  Aurilia
  6.  Lopez
  7.  Randa
  8.  Freel
  9.  Dunn
  10. Griffey
  11. Kearns
  12. Pena
There's hardly anyone else on the roster...I can't for the life of me figure out who it might be.  Any ideas/slaps to the side of the head?

Won't know the answer
I have a feeling we won't know the answer to that question till around the 2nd-3rd week of March.

Too many variables: injuries/poor performances/stellar performances/manager preference, etc etc.

Front runner
In my mind, the front runner going into spring training, based on his performance last season, is Jacob Cruz.  He is a left handed bat off the bench, and we all know how well he hits.  But jm is right, its the O'Brien strategy(competition).  Sardinha, Peterson, Estallela, Lopez, Zapp, and all the others will have their chances.

Brian Peterson
I say Brian Peterson has a chance,  from what I hear he is ripping the ball in BLCamp

Yup
If we go with the normal 11 man pitching staff, which i really hope we do, Zapp and Cruz would be my 2 choices.

I'd be surprised
Given the problems with options and who to keep on the staff, I can't believe we'll only keep 11.
