Wow.
Albert Pujols - bad ass.

WOW
What a hanger to pujols.  Berkman got away with a cheap 338-foot homer, but Pujols got every bit of his.
Enough with Strikeouts and Michael

338
I wouldn't say Berkman's home run was cheap.  338 is out of most parks down the line.  That being said, Pujols just crushed that ball.

Lidge just went all Donnie Moore on this one.  It'll be interesting to see how the Astros react.

Lidge
Lidge has been a little shaky his last several appearances.  It took some good plays to win yesterday, and the day before he allowed a run.  Wasn't too surprised to see him struggle again today, although after that first pitch to Pujols, I thought he was going to pull it out.

But man, the moment I saw where that pitch was all I could think was "uh, oh."  Then big Pujols swung the bat.  That's some freaking amazing baseball right there.

::gasp::
I literally just jumped/fell out of the bed and landed on the floor, waking up my wife in the process.  I was just thinking that it didn't get any better than a lidge/pujols matchup to end it.  WOW. -jinaz

that's two
...another 3-3 for out number 3?

Announcers
This reminds of when the Cubs blew it in '03.  Whenever the announcers start counting the number of outs remaining, I always cringe - especially for a team that has had a history of coming up short.  Thom Brennaman did just that tonight.  And whaddya know?

I also thought that it was odd that they started doing a eulogy for Busch stadium with 2 innings left in a 2-run game.  They called out the spirits.

So...
Can the Astros recover?

If anyone can do it, it's Oswalt
Maybe it's just because I'm a Reds fan, but seeing Oswalt coming in for the Astros on Wednesday would give me a lot of confidence.  Having Big Clemens in a game 7 isn't bad either, but I really like Oswalt.

Yes!
Oswalt should do it for the Stros. But they're back before that wild crowd in the best fan-support city in mlb based on population.
